Gingival problems are caused by bacterial plaque in the oral cavity. Chlorhexidine and cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) protect delicate and sensitive gums.
The combination of both ingredients helps reduce build up of microorganisms that form bacterial plaque and that release the volatile sulfide compounds (VCS) causing bad breath (halitosis).
Alcohol free formulation is safe and gentle on gum tissues. There is no unpleasant burning sensation associated with the presence of alcohol.
