There are a number of reasons why people may develop sensitivity of their teeth and gums; namely receding gums and gum disease, problems with the roots of their teeth or damage to the enamel covering. Tooth sensitively can sometimes develop after dental treatment and in particular after tooth whitening. Thankfully there are now gum treatments and remineralising products which can help improve this sensitivity.

Using a specially formulated toothpaste can help reduce the sensitivity.

GUM Technique+ Toothbrush

Brush – avoid brushing directly after eating or drinking particularly when having taken acidic foods or drinks. Use a gentle balanced technique with a domed bristle brush
GUM Soft Picks

Floss – use the GUM soft picks coated in the GUM high fluoride toothpaste interdentally to lessen sensitivity.
GUM Original White Toothpaste

Toothpaste – use GUM Original White Toothpaste which will not only optimise both stain removal but restore mineral density to enamel and exposed root because of its fluoride content.
